.. why would people feel the need to port items to Pre-Searing?
What, even, did people feel they needed to bring to Pre-Searing?

More importantly, Why on earth does it matter if they do? i cant think of anyone this is hurting. and this is bringing more enjoyment to the people who like to stay in pre-searing indefinatly (theres plenty)
i cant see any reason for it to need to be "fixed", feel free to correct me

People are selling bags w/ the rune of holding on them, max weapons, runes from minor to sup.
It's pre, you are suppose to look forwards to what post offers.
Not only that they are selling them for crazy prices like 1k for a minor vigor. or 3k for a bag holding 10 items

Other than the possibility of tempting newbies to buy gold from eBay so they can afford those items in pre, I don't see how this hurts anything or anyone.
and again, I don't see the need to control a free market. if somebody wants to sell stuff at rip off prices, and somebody desire/dumb enough to buy them, then that makes 2 happy persons.

I know its pre n u arent suppost to have these max items an so forth but its not like it took them a long time to get them to u (as in work for it)
I just think that it deafeats the purpose. Pre searing is just a practice round for you. If you want to stay in pre then live w/ not getting the luxuries of post.

It'd definitely make for some easy dye farming in pre if you had access to max damage weapons, runes and bags for maximizing storage... or posing as many like to do in pre. It'd be also neat to have 100K in pre-searing so you can buy out all the dyes and whatnot at dirt cheap prices to take into post to sell at real market rates which I think constitutes as abuse.

I haven't seen anyone in Pre-Sear who is "new" enough to sell a black dye for less than real market price. Those that are though, usually find out the real price beforehand due to the crew that hangs in pre-sear notifying everyone about the different scams.
Although it's not abuse anyway (taking advantage of people who don't know the economy, that is), so it wouldn't really be a bannable offense. Doesn't mean it's right, but this isn't a moral debate here.

People are really grasping at straws here by saying you can exploit the dye market...
Nothing you take to pre is going to have any effect on the game, and whether newbies buy max damage wepaons in pre or ascalon as soon as they reach post make no difference at all.

They were pretty quick (quicker would be nice, but it's still very fine with me) on this fix, compliments to ANet!

Well, I stated my reasoning on why I dont think it was ok to do, which was of course my opinion. An A-net didnt like it either thus the reason it is now corrected and unable to be done now.
